VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Gas prices around Metro Vancouver are dropping by about four cents today, according to industry insiders.
That means in most places you’ll see $1.52 a litre for regular and out in Fraser Valley, it’ll be closer to about $1.35 a litre. Dan McTeague with GasBuddy.com says prices could drop even further.
“You could see on the weekend prices dip another four or five cents a litre as gas stations tends to shed their retail margins,” he says, adding we might not see a drastic jump up for a couple of weeks.
“[They’re] probably remaining in the area they are in now at least until the end of July,” says Mcteague. “August is a different matter–we’ll have to see where the world is in terms of oil prices.”
